It’s Okay to Be An Only Child

Self promotion time! I have a new article up on xoJane about why it’s okay to be an only child.

So many people have asked me when I’m going to have a second child. I’m really not sure I want to, honestly. I’m an only child myself and I see no problem with being that way. I think people can screw up their kids whether they have one or five. I also think people can raise wonderful only children who are not spoiled, bossy, or lonely. I mean, I turned out alright, right?! RIGHT?

Anyhow, check out the article if you’re an only child yourself, have an only child, or are weighing the pros and cons of having a second child. I’ll be sure to discuss this topic more on the blog, since the whole “second child” convo is definitely starting to happen. And no, we have no idea whether we want another baby. So stop asking, Mom!
